STUBB’S MADE WITH MUSIC
Stubb’s BBQ Sauce has a rich history that’s just waiting to be told. Starting in 1968 in Lubbock, Texas, C.B. Stubblefield started making sauce. He even turned his BBQ joint into a full-fledged music venue. He would give his stage to hungry artists, like Willie Nelson, and close out every night with his own rendition of “Summertime.” We wanted to tell C.B. Stubblefield’s story, while making sure music came through every step of the way, which is why we launched Made with Music. We started with manifestos and display, and then captured food in all of its Stubb’s glory with a little splash of “Summertime.” Just like Stubb would’ve done.
